Kisah 25 Nabi Dan Rosul

Kata "nabi" berasal dari kata naba yang berarti "dari tempat yang tinggi"; karena itu orang 'yang di tempat tinggi' semestinya punya penglihatan ke tempat yang jauh (prediksi masa depan) yang disebut nubuwwah.

Rasul adalah manusia yang memperoleh wahyu dari Tuhan tentang agama dan misinya.

Nabi dan Rasul adalah manusia-manusia pilihan yang bertugas memberi petunjuk kepada manusia tentang keesaan Allah SWT dan membina mereka agar melaksanakan ajaran-Nya. Ciri-ciri mereka dikemukakan dalam Al-Qur’an,

"... ialah orang-orang yang menyampaikan risalah-risalah Allah. Mereka takut kepada-Nya dan mereka tiada takut kepada seorang (pun) selain kepada Allah. Dan cukuplah Allah sebagai pembuat perhitungan." (Q.S. Al Ahzab : 39).

Perbedaan antara Nabi dan Rasul adalah : seorang Nabi menerima wahyu dari Allah SWT untuk dirinya sendiri, sedangkan Rasul menerima wahyu dari Allah SWT guna disampaikan kepada segenap umatnya. Para Nabi dan Rasul mempunyai 4 sifat wajib dan 4 sifat mustahil, serta satu sifat jaiz, yaitu :

1.Shiddiq (benar), Mustahil ia Kizib (dusta).

2.Amanah (dapat dipercaya), mustahil Khianat (curang).

3.Tabliqh (Menyampaikan wahyu kepada umatnya), Mustahil Kitman (menyembunyikan Wahyu).

4.Fathonah (Pandai/cerdas), Mustahil Jahlun (Bodoh).

5.Bersifat jaiz yaitu Aradhul Basyariyah (sifat-sifat sebagaimana manusia).

Di dunia ini telah banyak Nabi dan Rasul telah diturunkan, tetapi yang wajib diketahui oleh umat Islam adalah sebanyak 25 Nabi dan Rasul, yaitu :

The word "prophet" comes from the word naba means "on high"; Therefore the 'on high' should have the vision to distant sites (future predictions) called nubuwwah.

Rasul is human revelation from God about the religion and its mission.

Prophets and Apostles are chosen people in charge to instruct people about the oneness of Allah and nurture them to carry out His teachings. The characteristics of those mentioned in the Qur'an,

"... Are those who deliver the Messages of Allah. They were afraid of him and they are not afraid of a (any) besides Allah. And Allah is sufficient as a maker of precision." (Q.S. Al Ahzab: 39).

The difference between the Prophet and Messenger are: a Prophet received revelation from Allah SWT for himself, while the Apostles received the revelation from Allah to be delivered to all his people. Prophets and Apostles have 4 properties and four properties shall be impossible, as well as the nature allowed but not required, namely:

1.Shiddiq (right), it is impossible Kizib (lie).

2.Amanah (trustworthy), impossible treasonous (cheating).

3.Tabliqh (Delivering revelation to his people), Impossible Kitman (hide Revelation).

4.Fathonah (Smart / intelligent), Impossible Jahlun (Stupid).

5.Bersifat allowed but not required that Aradhul Basyariyah (traits as humans).

In this world has many Prophets and Messengers have been lowered, but that must be known by Muslims is as much as 25 Nabi and Rasul, namely:
